As the core storage hub of raw materials and finished products, the edible oil processing warehouse is usually planned as a narrow channel layout to maximize the use of space. At the same time, due to the volatile emission of edible oil raw materials and finished products, the warehouse belongs to an explosion-proof operating environment, which places strict requirements on the safety performance of the equipment. However, traditional forklifts generally have problems of large turning radius and insufficient explosion-proof performance, making it difficult to adapt to the operation requirements of such scenarios.
The finished product warehouse of a medium-sized edible oil processing enterprise has an internal main channel width of only 2.2 meters. It needs to complete the stacking operation of edible oil finished products with a single pallet load of no more than 2.5 tons, and the stacking height is required to reach 6 meters. The ordinary forklift previously used was unable to complete flexible steering and U-turn operations in the narrow channel due to the large turning radius. Additional space was required during operation, which not only wasted storage area, but also reduced operation efficiency. Moreover, the forklift does not have explosion-proof qualifications, and there are safety hazards when operating in an environment with combustible gases.
In order to solve the above problems, the company introduced a 2.5-ton three-pivot explosion-proof forklift. This forklift adopts a three-pivot structure design, with a minimum turning radius of only 1.5 meters. It can easily complete steering, U-turn and other operations in a 2.2-meter wide channel, perfectly adapting to the space limitations of narrow passages. At the same time, its electrical system, power system and other key components are all designed with explosion-proof design, which meets the safety standards of explosion-proof working environment, which can effectively avoid the risk of explosion caused by sparks.
In the actual stacking operation, after the forklift picks up the goods from the finished product loading and unloading area, it can directly drive into the narrow channel, reach the designated stacking position smoothly through precise steering control, and stack the pallets layer by layer to a height of 6 meters with the help of the lifting system. After completing the operation, it can turn around and exit the channel without additional space, greatly shortening the single-trip operation time. After a period of application, the efficiency of warehouse stacking operations has been improved by about 35%, and at the same time, the hidden safety hazards in the explosion-proof environment have been completely eliminated, providing a stable guarantee for the warehousing operation of enterprises.
