Customs supervision warehouse 1.5 tons three-point forklift, on-site supply case sharing

We recently completed a 1.5-ton three-point forklift on-site supply project for a customs supervision warehouse, which is mainly responsible for the temporary storage and transit of import and export goods. The operation space is compact and the frequency of goods circulation is high, which places clear requirements on the flexibility and stability of forklifts.

In the early communication, the person in charge of the supervision warehouse mentioned that the width of the internal passage of the warehouse is only about 2.2 meters, the traditional forklift is difficult to turn smoothly, and the goods are mainly standard pallets, with a single load weight between 1 ton and 1.4 tons. The forklift that needs to be adapted must have sufficient load-bearing capacity and be able to operate flexibly in a small space. Combining these needs, we recommended a 1.5-ton three-point forklift and arranged for field trial operation verification to ensure that the equipment meets the on-site operating conditions.

After the supply, the forklift has been put into daily operation for a week. According to the feedback from the on-site operators, the three-point design makes the turning radius of the forklift smaller, and there is no need to repeatedly adjust the turning and steering in the narrow channel, which effectively reduces the pause time during the operation. In response to the frequent cargo loading and unloading and short-distance transshipment needs of the supervision warehouse, the battery life of the forklift can cover 8 hours of operation time in a single day, and there is no need to charge halfway, further ensuring the continuity of the operation. At the same time, the fork lifting speed of the forklift is moderate, which can smoothly hold up all kinds of packaged goods and avoid the displacement or dumping of goods due to excessive operation, which meets the strict requirements of the safety control of the goods in the supervision warehouse.

We arranged for a special person to follow up for a week after delivery to record the operation data of the forklift and the actual use suggestions of the operator. From the statistics, the average daily operation volume of the forklift has increased by about 15% compared with the previous equipment, and the training cost of the operator is relatively low. It only takes half a day to master the basic operation skills. In addition, the maintenance of the forklift is relatively simple. It only needs to check the basic items such as tire pressure, battery power, and braking system every day, and no complicated professional tools are required, which reduces the pressure of equipment operation and maintenance in the supervision warehouse.

The field supply case shows that the 1.5-ton three-point forklift can better adapt to the operation scenario of the customs supervision warehouse, and its flexibility, load-bearing capacity and battery life can meet the core requirements of this kind of warehousing scenario. For warehouses with similar compact operating space and high-frequency cargo circulation requirements, this kind of three-point forklift is worth considering.
