Bonded warehouses have high requirements for the flexibility and accuracy of stacking equipment due to the wide variety of stored goods and compact channel space. Three-point electric forklifts have become common equipment in such scenarios due to their advantages of flexible steering and small footprint. The following is a detailed explanation of the practical points to help operators standardize their operations.
The first step is the inspection process before starting. The operator needs to go around the car to check the appearance of the vehicle to confirm that the tires are not damaged and the body is free of potential scratches; then enter the cab to check whether the power display is sufficient, whether the braking system is sensitive, whether the fork and lifting mechanism are normal, and ensure that the equipment status meets the operation requirements before starting the vehicle.
At the beginning and driving stage, it is necessary to pay attention to the flow of people and goods in the bonded warehouse, and keep driving at a low speed. Slowly step on the accelerator pedal when starting, and make full use of the small turning radius advantage of the three-point forklift when turning. Anticipate the channel width in advance to avoid scratching the shelves or goods. Keep a safe distance from the surrounding goods and personnel during driving, and honk in advance when encountering intersections or blind spots.
The core stacking operation needs to follow the principle of precise operation. First, drive the forklift smoothly to the front of the goods, adjust the angle between the body and the tray, ensure that the fork is aligned with the tray fork hole, slowly insert the fork hole to a suitable depth, and pay attention to avoid fork damage to the goods or pallets. Then lift the fork at a uniform speed, lift the goods to the corresponding shelf height, adjust the position of the body to make the goods and the shelves align accurately, slowly drop the fork to the designated position of the shelf, confirm that the goods are placed firmly, and then slowly pull out the fork to complete the stacking operation.
In addition, the safety details during the operation cannot be ignored. Overloading operations are strictly prohibited, and the appropriate goods need to be selected according to the rated load of the forklift; when stacking, pay attention to the center of gravity of the goods to avoid rollover caused by the deviation of the center of gravity; after the operation, park the forklift in the designated area, reduce the fork to the lowest position, turn off the power and pull the handbrake.
Mastering the practical skills of three-point electric forklifts can not only improve the efficiency of bonded warehouse cargo stacking, but also ensure the safety of the operation process, and help the standardization and efficiency of warehouse operations.
